Abstract:Transition-Metal-Catalyzed oxidative coupling reactions have emerged as the most important and attractive methods to construct carbon—carbon bond and carbon—heteroatom bonds in organic synthetic chemistry. Notably, the third generation of oxidative coupling reactions, using hydrocarbons as coupling partners, represents a more atom-economic and greener method to construct compounds.
